Wearing three silver pendants 'on trend this season'

Fashion fans have been told that they can wear up to three different silver pendants all at once.

Cynthia Sliwa, writing for JCKOnline.com, said that statement necklaces featuring pendants have been big over the last couple of years.

"One way to wear a treasured pendant but to ramp up the look is to wear multiple pendant necklaces together. Three pendants worn on staggered short, medium and long chains is a popular and aesthetically pleasing approach favoured by stylists," she added.

Picking out a number of examples, Ms Sliwa said that in the June issue of Marie Claire magazine, model and singer Karen Elson is shown wearing three silver pendants, all in different shapes and sizes.

The magazine also highlighted two different looks featuring silver pendants in May. The first featured a jacket and shorts, and the second showed how the jewellery items can be worn with a slouchy pantsuit.

Earlier this month, Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker showed off her favourite silver pendant at a number of red carpet appearances.
