Vanessa Hudgens shows how to wear a silver necklace

Actress Vanessa Hudgens wowed crowds at the MTV Movie Awards this week - complementing a silver jewellery-studded gauzy Jenny Packham minidress with a simple silver necklace.

The Beastly and High School Musical star was one of the best-dressed actresses on the red carpet and showed how wear silver pendants with style.

Other stars who got it right included Up in the Air actress and Breakout Star winner Anna Kendrick, who wore a colorful low-cut black, red and pink floral Zac Posen dress finished with sky-high banded black pumps, and Iron Man 2 star Scarlett Johansson, who went for sleek sophistication in a forest green belted Dolce & Gabbana lace shift dress and black pumps.

According to MTV, most of the actresses in attendance chose to go with short dresses for the summer bash, although The Hills star Lo Bosworth stood out in a sophisticated floor-length coral Diane von Furstenberg Grecian gown.
