Silver pendants 'should not drop too low'
Women who wear silver pendants have been told that there are a number of unwritten fashion rules that they need to follow to ensure that their neckline is graced appropriately.
A guide in the Hindustan Times, with inputs from jewellery designer Rekha Arora, stated that chunky necklaces and silver pendants are definitely in trend at the moment, however, women need to be careful not to make a fashion faux-pas with them.
"People with long necks must avoid thin chokers as they give the illusion of elongating the neck even further. They can wear necklaces that dangle and are layered. However, pendants should not drop into the cleavage area," the guide added.
Other advice offered to fans of silver pendants was that the jewellery should contrast, to ensure that it stands out on a plain, understated outfit.
According to LivingOneIndia, old designs of jewellery, including silver pendants, are on trend at the present time.
