Silver pendants are making a comeback

Silver pendants are making something of a fashion comeback, according to a blog, which said that different styles are currently dominating the most wanted accessories.

Cynthia Sliwa, writing for JCKOnline.com, said that delicate pendants on fine chains, worn in multiples around the neck are currently 'in'.

Furthermore, big and heavy items, worn on more substantial chains, are currently proving very popular among fashion fans.

"One game-changer was Julia Roberts’ necklace at the Golden Globes. Her choice was a vintage 1972 long necklace from the Van Cleef and Arpels Private Collection, featuring a pendant of citrines surrounded by diamonds and set in 18 carat yellow gold," she stated.

Ms Sliwa also pointed to the August 2010 issue of InStyle magazine, which heralded the return of silver pendants with a full-page spread on the jewellery style.

According to a report on NWsource by Kristin Kalning, silver pendants which follow a tribal style are current in fashion.
