Silver necklaces 'the best pieces this season'

Women looking to update their jewellery collection have been told to shop around for silver necklaces, as they are the best pieces this season.

A guide written for North Shore News stated that necklaces have many functions, including holding stylish silver pendants.

Furthermore, they can complement or camouflage features which women have, as long draping items can take attention away from the hips, it stated.

"Another modern look for your neck is the bib necklace, which emphasises your face because it falls in the mid-chest to neck area.

This statement is bold because of the many layers and pieces that are very close together," the guide said, adding that turquoise and coral beads are very popular and they flatter many skin tones, while glass and metal beads are delicate and edgy.

Recently, model Eva Herzigova told Vanity Fair magazine that wearing jewellery and silver necklaces in particular, brings attention to her.
