Silver brooches can 'add a touch of class'
Wearing simple fashion accessories such as silver brooches can "add a touch of class to one's attire", according to an industry expert.
Josephine Tan, store operations manager for Chi Hua Hua, in Malaysia, told NST.com that the popularity of silver brooches is currently growing among both men and women, adding that she has had to start sub-branding to cater for different buyers.
Speaking ahead of the Karnival Kerongsang, which is believed to be the biggest brooch and pin exhibition ever, Ms Tan said: "We will have the bridal range as well as simple designs for men to pin on their coats to enhance the look of the outfit."
The fashion expert added that the current trend is not over-accessorise with items such as chunky silver necklaces, but to keep things simple.
Furthermore, silver brooches could also stand out at the upcoming Style 2010 show, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
