Silver bangles 'ideal for summer'

Fashion fans wanting to look chic this summer have been told that they should invest in silver bangles.

Lindsay Albanese, a celebrity stylist, told StyleList.com that jewellery items which work well in the summer months include necklaces, short charm or pendant necklaces, thin bangles, fun statement rings and friendship or woven bracelets.

She added that natural accents of coral, rock or shell also help to give off a fresh and summery feel.

"Yay for bangles; piled on and in all different shapes, styles and colours. I favour thinner styles because you can wear a lot without it looking or feeling bulky. What's great is that you can create this trend for cheap," Ms Albanese stated.

Furthermore, the expert advised women to stay away from anything that is bulky or thick on the back of the neck, as these items will add body heat in the sunshine.

Julia Cumming, Colour Me Beautiful image consultant, recently told the Buckinghamshire Advertiser that accessories should also be chosen to match with key colours.
