Silver bangles: Accessories are important all year round

Accessories, including silver bangles, have the power to complete an outfit, according to an expert, who said that they are important for every season of the year.

Answering letters on fashion concerns in the North Shore News, 'Mattie' said that the current in trend is for jewellery to be original and hip, with people taking many influences from different parts of the world.

She stated that there is a sense of glamour in wearing something different and multi-textured, and advised that people should look for elaborate and bold pieces.

"Bracelets are big and trendy this season. Bangles and cuffs draw attention away from upper arms. The look for bracelets is the more bold and exotic, the better. Bangles are slimmer than cuffs. Look for art deco and exotic styles, that bring together leather, metal, Lucite, wood and straw," she stated.

One star to show off her love of silver bracelets recently is Jessica Biel, who has lit up the red carpet of two A-Team premieres in the past week.
