Sex and the City movie to inspire choices of silver necklaces
Carrie Bradshaw and the rest of the Sex and the City girls are set to inspire thousands of women to go out and buy glitzy silver necklaces when the new movie comes out.
Carlisha Hartzog Bagsby, a personal stylist, told the AL blog that while the majority of people cannot afford Carrie's vintage clothing and designer accessories, copying her style is not impossible.
"You simply have to know what to look for. Of course, some of the outfits in the movie are way over the top; it's set in Manhattan," she added.
Ms Bagsby went on to say that the best way to approach accessorising is to pick one focal point.
"Adorn the neck, or wrist or even a finger with a glamorous piece. But not every part at once," she commented.
Reviewing the movie for the Daily Mail, Amanda Platell gave it four stars, and described it as "escapist fun".
