Rose quartz jewellery 'continues to lure customers'

Fashionistas have been told that gemstone jewellery continues to lure customers in, as the precious stones can make a statement when they catch the light.

Kate Donovan, writing for Retail-Jeweller.com, said that whether it is the rock on a finger or a stunning pair of earrings, people are prepared to part with their cash if they can find a stone, such as rose quartz, in their favourite colour.

Continuing developments in gemstones make it essential that jewellers selling gem items keep their expertise up to date so that they can impart their knowledge to customers," she added.

Jason Holt, managing director of Holts Lapidary stone cutters, told the news source that precious stones are precious for a reason, because there is a desirability about them and also a limited supply.
