Rose quartz: Crystal jewellery has a bright future

Fashion fans have been told that crystal jewellery is a trend with a bright future, with some people believing that gemstones possess spiritual powers.

Jade Warne, writing for the lifestyle section of Yahoo.com, said that Rose quartz jewellery is believed to heal emotional wounds and attract unconditional love.

"Turquoise is claimed to promote mental clarity and citrine to assist acquiring wealth. While the science may be sketchy, one thing's for sure: if you put your faith in any of these dazzling crystal accessories, it's sure to cause a stir. And that's no small power in itself," she stated.

Ana Kalaw, writing for the Philippine Star, added that back in the 1980s and 90s, people scoffed at the suggestion that stones were more than inanimate clusters of mineral.

However, the 21st century has hit, and brought with it an age of yoga and meditation, which is making the concept of beneficial gemstones more acceptable.
