Old designs are being used on today's silver pendants
Silver pendants featuring abstract designs are likely to be the discovery of previous generations, rather than the present one, according to a report.
LivingOneIndia reported that pendants were items of jewellery which were used in older times, with designs from previous eras still proving popular today.
It added that coloured pendants, such as those in red and yellow, were worn as an identification of the owner, much like a sports fan dons their team's shirt when they go to see them in action.
"The home decor of ancient times was very much similar to what we practice now. The changes came about with the evolution of man, but as it is said, history repeats itself and now we are following the age old designs again," the news provider stated.
One celebrity showing off her love of pendants recently was Pixie Lott, who sported a silver necklace for an interview at the BBC Radio 1 studios.
