Holiday fashion tips include silver statement jewellery

Statement jewellery, such as silver pendants, should be in every woman's suitcase when they go abroad, according to an expert, who said that the items can be used to transform outfits.

Amanda Bernstein, writing for the Daily Mail, said that looking good by the pool does not have to bring people out in a heat rash.

"This season's maxi dresses are a great way to cover up on the beach, and you can wear them in the evening, too - add statement jewellery and chic sandals to go from beach to bar," she added.

Ms Bernstein went on to say that over-sized hats will suit the maxi dress and statement jewellery look perfectly, and fashion fans were encouraged to look for one with an over-sized brim as this will add a look of glamour.

Recently, Cynthia Sliwa, writing for JCKOnline.com, said that silver pendants are currently making a comeback in the fashion world.
