Former Emmerdale star tells of love for silver bangles

A former star of Emmerdale has said that she is addicted to buying accessories, including silver bangles.

Roxanne Pallett, who played the role of Jo Sugden and who has since been starring in Rock Around the Clock at the King's Theatre, Glasgow, recently told the Scotsman that she loves to complement her outfits with little bits of jewellery.

"I'm a soft touch when it comes to accessories. I love bangles, earrings, hairbands and bags," she said.

Talking about people that she takes inspiration from, Pallett said that she admires the style of Frankie Sandford, a singer with the Saturdays.

"I have a walk-in wardrobe full of pieces that tell a story, from dresses I've worn on the red carpet, to costumes, favourite tops and jackets," added the former soap star.

Recently, Sandford was seen sporting silver bangles ahead of the band's appearance at Channel 4s T4 On The Beach festival, while fellow singer Rochelle Wiseman showed off a silver bracelet.
