Expert: Silver bracelet wearers are not over the hill at forty

Women are far from over the hill at forty, according to an expert, who said that they are attractive, confident and fashionable.

Karen Espley, director of Thirty10.com, said that there are less women that reach their forties and become frumpy than before and typically 'fortysomething'.

She added that women in their forties "absolutely adore their fashion", which could be good news for those looking for silver bracelets.

"OK we probably don't wear it in the same combination of clothes that somebody in their thirties could get away with – but you can still dress really fashionably and nicely in your forties, without looking like mutton dressed as lamb," she stated.

Ms Espley added that women in their forties still want to look great, whether this is for work or a special occasion, which might see them looking for silver jewellery to smarten up their appearance.

Her words came as research from QVC showed that women are at their most beautiful when they are 31.
