Catherine Deneuve shows off silver necklace

Actress Catherine Deneuve showed how to outshine people almost half her age on the red carpet with a silver necklace that glistened with what looked to be turquoise jewellery.

It was one of a range of jewellery that the French-born star sported, with gold, glistened, looped earrings, a silver watch and a bracelet also being shown off.

She worked the variety of accessories with a one sleeved, dark grey Lanvin Spring 2010 dress, which has been a popular garment of the celebrity world – worn previously by Demi Moore and Pace Wu at past events, the Red Carpet Fashion Awards has reported.

To finish off the outfit was a splash of black colour used for a pair of peep-toes shoes and an easy-to-carry bag.

The look showed that, despite being in her 60s, the actress, who has starred on the big screen since 1957, can still keep up with all comers in the fashion stakes.

Ms Deneuve donned her latest style to promote her new movie, called Potiche, at the Venice Film Festival.
