Why do we give gifts on Mother's Day?
From receipt of your order, subject to the item not having gone out of stock, we hope to be able to deliver your purchase to you within 5 days. We will e-mail you to let you know when the purchase has been dispatched. Please not that the credit/debit cards are debited as the order is placed. Payment by cheque will delay delivery as dispatch cannot take place until the cheque has cleared into our account, this may take up to 5 working days.
All items for UK delivery are posted Royal Mail signed for delivery at a charge of £3.50. Delivery is FREE for all orders over £100.
We also offer Royal Mail signed for next day delivery before 1pm at a charge of £7.50. Please place orders for next day service by midday Monday – Thursday; we regret we cannot deliver on a Saturday or Sunday.
Please note all items delivered to a UK address will need to be signed for, on delivery.
For delivery outside the UK, we use Royal Mail International signed for service. Delivery times can vary depending on the country, but generally we would allow 7 – 10 days.
Charges for Overseas delivery are as follows:
Europe - £10.00
USA/Canada - £15.00
Elsewhere - £17.50

All items will be packaged in Cavendish French branded gift packaging, as shown here, and will be further packaged for delivery.
Changed your mind?
We hope that you will be delighted with any purchase that you make from us, but if for any reason you are not entirely happy, please return the item to us for exchange or refund.
If you are not happy with your product on receipt, then as long as you return it to us unused, in its original condition and in the original packaging within 30 days of receipt, then we will refund you the full price you paid within 30 days of receiving the returned item. We regret we are unable to refund postage and packaging costs.
For hygiene reasons, we regret that, unless faulty, earrings for pierced ears are not returnable.
Although all items are checked for quality, very occasionally items slip through the net and in these instances we are happy to replace or refund any item. Cavendish French will refund return postage costs and replacement items will also be sent to you free of P&P charges.
Cavendish French will not accept return items that have been damaged through misuse, neglect, accident or intent howsoever caused. Neither are we able to accept responsibility for goods damaged in transit.
Returning a purchase
To enable us to deal with your returned item as efficiently as possible, we would appreciate it if you would follow these steps:
- e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know that you wish to return an item. We will e-mail you a reference number for the return which should be quoted on the returns form.
- Please print out Returns Form & complete.
- Please ensure the items are well packaged and protected – we would recommend bubble wrap and either boxes or jiffy type mailing envelope. We would suggest that all items are sent by Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery and that you obtain a certificate of postage which you keep as your proof of purchase. Regrettably we cannot be responsible for Returns that do not reach us. If the package is lost or stolen you are responsible for claiming compensation from the Royal Mail. Please note that recorded delivery does not offer compensation for jewellery.
